Nashoba Valley is pretty tame (for riding at a ski resort). The loop is a big clover leaf, so it's easy to cut out a section. There's lots of good up + down single track, not too much technical stuff, apart from the odd stone wall crossing and rocky downhill at the end when your brain is so starved of oxygen that you think you can make it with no brakes and catch some air off the drop off.
It's a perfect race course - trail 66 raced here in 97 and Erik broke his wrist. If you ride here with some of the fitter more race inclined ragers (Ted, Chrisspy or Erik) you'll be sure of busting at least one lung
I have since been told that Nashoba is a private area and does not allow riding except when they're hosting a race. Just so you know if you do ride there you'll be breaking the law.
